Post Season Set to Start for The Mighty Taco 3 Team
Its just 3 days until the kickoff to Dirtcars post season and the Labor day weekend, and the light at the end of the tunnel seems much brighter now. This weekend begins the quest to become the 2009 Dirtcar small block modified champion, with a pair of 50 lap finales at the Ransomville and Merrittville Speedways for warmups. Sunday the team will travel north to the Cornwall Speedway where the third session of the small block dirtcar series will run this season.
The post season Dirtcar Series will move into full swing next weekend with a 3 day trip north that will see stops at Mohawk, Brockville and Granby Speedways in consecutive nights. Stops will also be held at Drummond and Rolling Wheels before the events of the 38th Super Dirt Week in Syracuse which will see points races at Can Am, Brewerton, Rolling Wheels and of course the Syracuse Mile. The final stop of this post season was just announced last week and will be at the Brockville Speedway on the 17th of October.
"I feel that at this point, we are better and stronger than we were last year" stated CB3 about his upcoming run at the championship, and has support again from his main sponsor Mighty Taco to help him make the push. "Its a grueling road, with a lot of long hauls for us, but our preparation will be better this year with the notes and changes we are looking at from last years events." With the pair of 50 lappers first at the local ovals, you can bet that this team will be nothing short of ready come sunday in Cornwall.
Dont forget that your local dirt track is where its at, so get on out and support some of the best drivers in the northeast this fall..........
