Brachmann Racing Turns Early Season Travel Into Paydirt

(Wheatfield, NY) – He said the Big Block program was being cut back a little bit, not eliminated. In a telephone conversation before leaving for Sarver, Pennsylvania, Chad Brachmann reiterated that he changed the big block program from “A couple of good engines to one really great one”. That couldn’t be more true, as the team loaded up later that day, traveled to the season opener at Lernerville Speedway and left with a win.

“The track was nice, the other drivers were nice, and even the trip was nice” noted Brachmann. Chad took the started 5th and took the lead on the 4th lap and never looked back. The race started with a caution on each of the first 4 laps, but from there it was clear sailing for the Original Pizza Logs #3 as Chad checked out, winning by a full straightaway.

The team opted not to go to Hagerstown, but if the weather cooperates for this weekend, they may make a return to Lernerville to repeat. “If the weather is bad, and right now the forecast isn’t good, we won’t make the trip. We aren’t racing for points, just racing to race” said Chad in a telephone conversation today.

Meanwhile, another version of the fast looking and fast racing Original Pizza Logs #3 was at the Niagara Fashion Outlets in Niagara Falls, NY. Photos of the car can be seen on Ransomville Speedway’s website, RaceSpace.net, and of course BrachmannRacing.com.
