All Star Research Takes The Stage For Brachmann Racing

Chad Brachmann continues to endure one of the most trying seasons he has had in a long time driving a dirt modified. This year both his own efforts as a driver and those of his team have been tested week after week at the three local ovals he calls home on Friday, Saturday and every other Sunday night. I'm afraid his patience is wearing thinner by the week for a visit to victory lane while his tough skin continues to thicken.

Last weekends action at the Ransomville Speedway fell victim to mother nature for the second time this season. CB3 looks to park his Mighty Modified in victory lane again this friday July 16th on the Jetport Lounge and Lazy Lakes Camping Resort Night.

Saturday night at the Merrittville Speedway, Chad decided to make use of his track time to research and develop. With various car setup ideas floating in his mind, Chad went out "tinkered" as some would say, for the night looking for the information that will help him maintain his points lead at the Humberstone Speedway and get him to that prestigious Victory Lane. Chad would finish the feature 14th, but when asked how he thought he drove, stated that he was more than happy with the way the car handled for the major changes the team made. Research and development will continue this weekend, more on that to follow.

Sunday night at the Humberstone Speedway, the modifieds ran double features. The first was a heads up start featuring the likes of Nascar stars Dave Blaney and Bobby Labonte. Chad finished in 10th with a fast track and consistent drivers ahead of him, passing was difficult and as a point leader, venturing to take chances was not something this veteran was not willing to do. The second feature of the night was a postponed rain out from June the 27th. Chad took advantage of a well handling race car and a wide racetrack to push himself to a 3rd place finish. Chad battled Pete Bicknell and the second place points sitter Mike Bowman down to the wire and saw many fans wanting more.

This weekend, Brachmann Racing will once again travel to the Cayuga County Fair Speedway on Saturday night. Look for the Mighty Taco, Power Trip and CB3 to become this summers elite Allstar along with many others of Dirtcars best.
