Deuces Are Wild

This past weekend the Brachmann Racing team came home with a pair of second place finishes. Friday night at the Ransomville speedway, Chad put his Mighty Taco modified on the pole, only to watch fellow racer Todd Burley move into that position by four one hundredths of a second just minutes later.
Saturday night at the Merrittville Speedway spring sizzler, Chad and Pete Bicknell would forget the sizzle and lay down the smoke as they checked out into a race of their own and battle for the lead throughout the fifty lap feature. After a restart on lap forty two, Chad would pass Bicknell using the top side of the speedway and pull into the lead, only to see the yellow flag and a caution once again on lap forty eight.
On the restart, Chad would stick his car on the bottom of the speedway through turns one and two, forcing Bicknell to the topside, where he hadn' t been since lap eighteen.
With Bicknell catching Chad coming out of turn four, Chad would again stay to the bottom and force Bicknell to pass him for the lead and coming out of the final turn, Bicknell would finally do so, at the finish line, in the mote.
In only a few words, third place finisher Tommy Flannigan put it best when he stated "it was a great race to watch, I just wish I was a little closer".
This week, Chad will look to even the score with Burley and the rest of his company from the outside pole starting position friday night at the Ransomville Speedway, while saturday the team will attempt to regain the infamous three feet that have eluded them these past few seasons at the Merrittville Speedway. Your local dirt track is where its at, so pack up the family and meet us there, we'll bring the excitement.
