All Star Research Takes The Stage For Brachmann Racing

Chad Brachmann continues to endure one of the most trying seasons he has had in a long time driving a dirt modified. This year both his own efforts as a driver and those of his team have been tested week after week at the three local ovals he calls home on Friday, Saturday and every other Sunday night. I'm afraid his patience is wearing thinner by the week for a visit to victory lane while his tough skin continues to thicken.

Last weekends action at the Ransomville Speedway fell victim to mother nature for the second time this season. CB3 looks to park his Mighty Modified in victory lane again this friday July 16th on the Jetport Lounge and Lazy Lakes Camping Resort Night.

7th Is Lucky for Brachmann at Ransomville

Seneca, a roman dramatist, philosopher and politician once said that luck is when preparation meets opportunity, but if you ask any modified driver in the northeast they will tell you winning is based on talent. So, where lies the truth and how would you know the answer if you found it.

Chad Brachmann, the driver known as CB3 has been asking himself that same question for the past two weeks.  Two weeks ago, a pair of nasty wrecks left him thinking he was shorted on opportunities, then came a pair of top 3 finishes the following week. This left the six time track champ looking into being just a tad better in his preparation. Now, after looking at this past weekends finishes, Chad Brachmann might be the first driver that has been lead to believe that both preparation and opportunity may just play factors in racing after all, and he just needs some more luck.

Another Weekend Of Second To One

Chad Brachmann is know as many things. CB3 is one of them, and pretty soon he may be known for being the guy who is "just that far" from victory lane.

Friday night at the Ransomville Speedway the Mighty Taco number 3 was without a doubt, the fastest 358 in the field. Problem was, there was a field, the same strong drivers week in and week out that kept him distanced for just one too many laps. On a lap 11 restart, Scott Kerwin began his charge to the front, roughly 4 laps later, so did Chad. While Kerwin took the lead with just a handful of laps remaining,  Chad put his foot to the floor and was gaining on him. While carving lap traffic one car at a time, Chad saw parallel flags and knew he had just two laps to go, and the charge was on. Running second, Chad looked to the lines he ran fastest all night and off of turn 4, he came up two car lengths short of the lead and 1 lap short of victory lane.
